Not again, yet another evening of wondering what might have been. The Captain began with a disgaceful performance nearly on the receiving end of a Tin Hat! and walking away with an average of 11.50.

Hat’s off to the two Joe’s, both scored high checkouts and finished with excellent averages. I intend to go away for a while now for some much needed RnR, I wish you all well against Medlock and a fond farewell.

Ecstasy thy name be Victory! During this time of social upheavel with the Captaincy changing hands, and impending move to a new arena this was a marvellous victory. My Congrats to Harry, he had balls of steel for the last game and was the perfect choice for the decider. I must also applaude Stephen and David who chalked up their first victories of the season, long may it continue.

Dear oh dear oh dear. On a night when the Captain decided to step down we came up against one of the best teams in the League! To take two games from this team was an achievement. I must congratulate Ian Henderson on a stunning game, in his first game of the season he claimed the highest checkout and the best three dart average this season with 75.25. That brings me (yet again) to Andrew, sublime one minute clueless the next, a three dart average of 9.50 in unacceptable. But given his recent excellent displays I have decided not to kill him.

A win, a win, my kingdom for a win. I thought that when we were tied at two we would be able to keep the wolves at the door, but some of the chaps were simply savaged! I must yet again congratulate Andrew on another scintillating performance, a tin hat was again issued and he came away another average of 60.20. Even this only just managed to cheer me up after what has been a tragic week for me personally.
